Account Manager/Technology Sales

 

Overview:

The purpose of the position is to increase the existing customer base by generating interest in the company’s services and products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with active customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into requirements that satisfy their demands.

  • Qualify new sales opportunities for current customers

  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities compliant with defined policies and procedures

  • Meet or exceed annual sales revenue and gross margin goals as defined by management

  • Perform proposal writing and prepare sales information for customers

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our services and products and how it relates to customer’s needs

  • Manage on-going customer account relationships.

  • Develop and maintain solid business relationships within the various decision-makers and influencers at all levels at each account.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Ideal qualified candidates will have IT sales experience employed by a VAR/Solution Provider and have the ability to overcome obstacles, achieve sales goals, articulate ideas clearly and concisely

  • Knowledge of current IT vocabulary, terminologies and technology trends.

  • Demonstrated ability and comfortable with outbound cold-calling

  • Excellent sales skills including proficiency of the English language and have strong communication and effective presentation skills

  • Preferred candidate will have prior experience selling advance technology solutions for Cisco, Citrix, VMware, Microsoft, HP and others

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments and at all levels of the organization.
